Ingredients
  

  • Tomatoes 2 medium size
  • Potato 1 medium size
  • Onion 2 medium size
  • Beans 50gms
  • Brinjal 1 medium size
  • Carrot 1 medium size
  • Salt
  • Water 1 Glass
  • Sambar Premix by Xtra flavours 2Tbs
  • Oil 1 Tbs
  • Few Curry leaves

Instructions
 

  • Place all the chopped vegetables in a cooker. Add one glass of water and some salt, and cook for one whistle.
  • In a bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of Xtra Flavours Sambar Premix with water until well combined, then set aside.
  • Heat a pan and add 1 tablespoon of oil. Sauté chopped onions and curry leaves until the onions turn translucent.
  • Add diced tomatoes (cut into blocks) to the pan and sauté well.
  • Pour the cooked vegetables into the pan. Bring to a boil, then add the prepared sambar premix. Let it simmer until it boils again.
  • Adjust the thickness of the sambar by adding water if needed.
  • No need to add tamarind or extra salt, as the premix already contains both.
  • This premix can also double as a chutney powder to serve with dosa or idli.
