Thoroughly wash the liver.
Cut it into small pieces, typically dividing one liver into about four pieces.
Heat oil in a pan over medium flame. Add finely chopped onion, green chilies, and curry leaves. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the onion changes color.
Add homemade ginger-garlic paste and sauté until the raw smell disappears.
Stir in chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften.
Add the liver pieces and salt, mixing well. Let it cook for a while, then pour in half a cup of water. Allow it to cook for 2 minutes on medium flame.
Sprinkle Xtra Flavours Bafat powder (a spice blend that enhances the taste of dishes like pork, veg kurma, or stir-fries) and mix well.
*Note:* Ensure the water has evaporated before adding the powder.
Add grated coconut, combine well, and cook for another minute on medium flame.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve.
Pairs well with chapati, dosa, or rice.
