Instant Sambar using Premix

Ingredients
- Tomatoes 2 medium size
- Potato 1 medium size
- Onion 2 medium size
- Beans 50gms
- Brinjal 1 medium size
- Carrot 1 medium size
- Salt
- Water 1 Glass
- Sambar Premix by Xtra flavours 2Tbs
- Oil 1 Tbs
- Few Curry leaves
Instructions
- Place all the chopped vegetables in a cooker. Add one glass of water and some salt, and cook for one whistle.
- In a bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of Xtra Flavours Sambar Premix with water until well combined, then set aside.
- Heat a pan and add 1 tablespoon of oil. Sauté chopped onions and curry leaves until the onions turn translucent.
- Add diced tomatoes (cut into blocks) to the pan and sauté well.
- Pour the cooked vegetables into the pan. Bring to a boil, then add the prepared sambar premix. Let it simmer until it boils again.
- Adjust the thickness of the sambar by adding water if needed.
- No need to add tamarind or extra salt, as the premix already contains both.
- This premix can also double as a chutney powder to serve with dosa or idli.
