
EGG MASALA

Ingredients
- Poppy seeds 1/2 tbsp
- Onions 1big in size
- Tomatoes 2 big in size
- Oil 3tbsp
- Ginger 1inch
- Garlic 15pods
- Green chilli 3 nos
- Coriander leaves stems few
- Byadagi Chilli powder -1/2 tbsp and 1/4 tspn for frying eggs
- Garam Masala 1/4 tspn
- Kasurri Methi little
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tbsp
- Garam masala powder
- Salt as per the requirement
- Water as per the requirement
Instructions
- Soak the poppy seeds in water for a while.
- In a jar, add tomatoes, ginger, garlic, green chilies, Byadagi chili powder, coriander stems, and the soaked poppy seeds. Grind into a fine paste.
- Heat oil in a pan, then add turmeric, chili powder, and salt. Sauté on a low flame for a few seconds.
- Make long slits on the boiled eggs and fry them in the pan for 2-3 minutes on medium flame. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add finely chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
- Add the ground paste and cook for a while. Then, add turmeric powder, chili powder, and salt. Cook on medium flame until the oil separates.
- Pour in some water to achieve a thick gravy consistency
- Add the fried eggs and mix well.
- Sprinkle crushed kasuri methi and garam masala. Stir well, cover, and let it cook for 2-3 minutes
- Your Egg Fry Masala is ready to serve!
