CHICKPEAS STIR-FRY
Red chickpeas are used to make the incredibly healthful dish kadle kalu usli, which is great for breakfast or dinner.

Ingredients
- 1 cup Red Chickpea
- 1/4 cup GroundNuts
- 1/2 Tbsp Salt
- 1/2 Cup Water
- 2 Tbsp Cooking Oil
- 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 Red Chilli
- 15 Curry leaves
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/8 tsp Asafoitida
- 3 Green Chillies
- 1 inch Ginger
- 1/2 Cup Grated Coconut
- Few Coriander leaves
- 1/4 Lemon
Instructions
Give the ground nuts and red chickpeas a good wash and soak for at least eight hours.
Add the water and salt, and cook the chickpeas and nuts until they become tender in a pressure cooker
Crush the ginger and green chillies to a rough pulp.
Heat the oil in the pan and let the cumin and mustard seeds sputter.
Include the curry leaves and red chilli and stir for 10 seconds.
Over a low flame, add the chilli paste, turmeric, and hing and stir for 10 seconds.
Include the nuts and cooked chickpeas.
Sauté them for two minutes in the oil.
Add the salt, if needed, and mix in the grated coconut and coriander leaves.
Cook it over medium heat for two to three minutes.
Put the lemon water in and mix after turning off the burner.
Present heated

Notes
Cooking food at a medium temperature adds additional taste.
When adding the lemon, the flame should be removed to avoid a bitter taste.
