Ingredients
  

  • Skinless chicken – 400 to 500 g
  • Curd – ½ cup
  • Salt – as required
  • Turmeric – ¼ tsp
  • Hot water – ½ cup
  • Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  • Xtra Flavours Ghee Roast Powder – 3 tbsp
  • Ghee – 1 cup
  • Curry leaves – a few
  • Cashews – 10 to 12
  • Jaggery – ¼ tsp

Instructions
 

  • Wash the chicken thoroughly.
  • For the first marination, add salt, curd, and turmeric to the washed chicken. Combine well and let it rest for about 30 minutes.
  • In a bowl, mix hot water with ginger garlic paste and Xtra Flavours Ghee Roast Powder to form a smooth paste.
  • Heat ghee in a kadai, add curry leaves followed by cashews, and sauté well.
  • Add the marinated chicken and fry in ghee until the outer layer of the chicken turns white.
  • Cover and cook for about 7 minutes.
  • Add the prepared ghee roast paste and cook until the chicken is well coated and cooked through.
  • Finally, add jaggery to balance the flavours and cook for a few more minutes.
  • Note: After cooking the chicken, check the salt and adjust if required.
