A lot of celebrations involve the preparation of kosambari, or salad, because it tastes great, is healthy, and has a lot of protein and fibre, which can help lower blood cholesterol levels.I've included all the instructions for making this delectable meal in this blog; you can also watch the preparation in video form.

Ingredients
  

  • moong dal -1/4 cup
  • Green Chilli-2
  • Carrot-1/4
  • Coconut -1/2 cup
  • Salt-1/2 tsp
  • Cucumber -1 (big
  • Few Coriander leaves
  • Lemon-1/2
  • Coconut oil-1 Tbsp
  • Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
  • Cumin seeds-1/4 tsp
  • Ginger -1/2 inch
  • Curry leaves -4

Instructions
 

  • Clean and let the dal soak for two hours.
  • Chop the veggies finely.
  • Fill a basin with chopped vegetables and shredded coconut.
  • Transfer the dal to the bowl after removing any extra water.
  • Mix everything up by adding the lime water and salt.
  • Splatter cumin and mustard seeds in hot oil in a pan.
  • Include the curry leaves and finely sliced ginger.
  • Combine it with the salad.

Notes

As the cocomber leaves water in the salad, stir the salad just before eating.
